New Staff Member at the School to Work Alliance The New York Citywide School to Work Alliance is pleased to announce that Kristen Sheehan has joined the staff as Manager of Business Relations. In this role, Kristen will facilitate activity-planning efforts with business and educational professionals around school-business partnership activities. She will also develop and conduct professional development workshops. One special focus of her business outreach will be to recruit outer-borough businesses to partner with local schools in their communities. Kristen grew up in Sea Cliff, New York, and following graduation from Villanova University relocated as an Ameri-Corp member to San Francisco. Specifically, she facilitated quality partnership workshops with business and school representatives to support school goals, created and delivered numerous trainings to business, parent and community volunteers, and worked with principals and teachers to develop partnership recruitment strategies. Kristen joins Tom Pendleton, Executive Director, Suzanne Tillman, Director of Organization and Leadership Development, and Joshua Klinski, Program Associate.
